The Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) jointly offer the possibility to apply for bilateral Swiss-Austrian Joint Research Projects. Joint Research Projects should combine the complementary expertise of the project partners. The project parts should be closely integrated and there should be substantial scientific input from both sides.
Applications will be dealt with following the Lead Agency Principle. If FWF acts as Lead Agency, applicants in Austria can submit their proposal for a “Joint Project” with partners from either one or two of the countries/regions participating in the Weave funding scheme.
Joint Projects submitted to the call between SNSF and FWF can have a maximum duration of three years.
