This new program replaces the two previous programs “Special Research Areas” and “Research Groups”.
Target group:
The program is aimed at consortia of three to twelve outstanding researchers from all scientific disciplines working at one or more Austrian research institutions. It is open for all disciplines and interdisciplinary teams, including art-based basic research.
Funding amount and period:
- €3 to 9 million for 60 months
- One follow-up application for a second funding period (48 months) can be submitted.
