The Scientific & Technological Cooperation (S&T Cooperation) is based on inter-governmental and bilateral agreements for cooperations in the fields of science and technology.
The financial support is intended for research visits within the framework of concrete scientific cooperation projects with researchers from partner countries of the Scientific & Technological Cooperation; the basic funding of the research projects must be secured from other sources. Funding is available mainly for travel and accommodation costs.

The call is open for all disciplines of Science and Technology.
Who may apply?
Austria:
- Researchers at higher education institutions (minimum requirement PhD degree) and researchers at non-university research institutions in areas of basic research (minimum requirement Master degree)
- PhD/Doctoral students as team members (Bachelor and Master graduates are not eligible for funding)
Project applications submitted by early-stage researchers as well as project applications with
involvement of PhD/doctoral students and/or female researchers will be prioritized.
India:
- Researchers working at universities, universities of applied sciences and other legal entities (e.g. higher education and research institutions, companies)
Duration and Funding
- max. EUR 15,000.- over two years: Funding will be provided for the mobility of researchers to carry out bilateral research projects.
- In Austria up to EUR 2,000.- per project of the granted funding may be applied for project-related material costs.
- Only new project partnerships can be funded under this programme!
